Qualifications

• Master's degree in Ojibwe language and culture studies or related field is required.
• Native or near-native fluency in Ojibwe (Ojibwemowin) and English is required.
• Possible areas of specialization include Education, Native American Studies, and Indigenous Art and Music.

Responsibilities

• Teach beginning and intermediate Ojibwe language courses with the possibility of creating an advanced course in the language.
• Teach undergraduate introductory and intermediate courses in Ojibwe language and culture; may teach additional Native Studies courses if applicable.
