Job summary

ADM Lincoln is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the plant during their assigned shift. The role involves directing a team, scheduling, coaching, and enforcing safety and environmental standards to ensure safe, efficient production.

You will oversee daily production and maintenance, communicate performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement while adhering to site guidelines and policies. This is a salaried exempt on-site position requiring rotating shifts and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with strong math, reading, and writing.
• Experience leading or supervising people is preferred.
• Self-starter able to make decisions independently with minimal oversight.
• Results-driven mindset to achieve leadership goals.
• Ability to motivate and engage direct reports and demonstrate leadership.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead team with direction, leadership, motivation, communication, training and discipline.
• Schedule team including vacation time and cross-training.
• Communicate shift performance and downtime, root cause analyses, and incident reports.
• Play active role in safety, quality, and environmental programs.
• Direct daily production and maintenance activities.
• Report defects via Maximo; safety and environmental events via Sphera Cloud.
• Commit to improving safety, processes, and plant efficiency.
• Serve as person in charge during shift for site operations.
• Lead team toward zero recordable injuries.
• Gain hands-on understanding of oilseed processing operations.
• Maximize operational efficiency and control department costs.
• Train and coach shift personnel on safety and procedures.
• Interact with all plant personnel; perform duties as assigned.
• Some trainings/meetings may occur outside shift hours.
