Job summary

Veolia is seeking an O&G Down-hole Chemical Service Technician for the Midland, TX area. The role involves installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing oilfield water and downhole treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

You will collect samples, test for impurities, and troubleshoot dosing pumps and paraffin-related issues. The position requires physical capability and occasional weekend overtime, with a focus on reliable customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office; 3–5 years related experience.
• Capability to operate a forklift and pumping equipment.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Occasional weekend work and overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair oilfield water and downhole treatment equipment.
• Collect and test samples for concentration and impurities.
• Read and record gas tubes; document readings accurately.
• Troubleshoot paraffin issues and assist with dosing pumps.
• Coordinate with customers and Veolia purchasing for supplies; maintain logs.
