Job summary

BlueFin Production Services, LLC in West Texas seeks a mechanically inclined Service Technician for the Midland/Odessa area. No prior experience required.

Under close supervision, you will support crews working with capillary tubing and downhole chemical injection systems, service equipment, and participate in training. This field role travels across the United States to support well production, with extensive travel and overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required; mechanical aptitude is required.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English for work instructions and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with capillary tubing installation and retrieval and spooling activities.
• Service, maintain, repair, and test equipment and tools in shop and on jobs.
• Load and unload equipment; help install and test manifolds and support assigned pressure-testing tasks.
• Use hand and power tools; learn capillary service equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Communicate with office and field teammates and write or participate in Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Participate in training on other product lines and follow BlueFin health, safety, environmental (HSE), and quality requirements.
