Job summary

Qualifications

• Must live within 1 hour driving distance to the yard.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts and print inventory reports.
• Assist with physical inventory counting and audits (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records to verify accuracy.
• Record shipment data: weight, charges, space, damages, discrepancies for records.
• Package and prepare materials for shipments and arrange shipping instructions.
• Properly pack, label, and tag parts before storage to prevent misidentification and damage.
• Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, forklifts or bins.
• Requisition and store shipping materials to maintain stock inventory.
• May manage unload/load trailers and track/shipping stock in proper locations.
• Use Oracle to initiate/complete inbound and outbound warehouse transactions.
• Complete daily forklift inspection; maintain warehouse equipment.
• Operate forklifts, including narrow-aisle reach.
• Maintain a well-organized, clean work environment and safety procedures.
• Adhere to OSHA, PPE, and other safety regulations.
• Other tasks as required.
