Job summary

Axis Energy Services in Meshoppen, PA is seeking a Floor Hand to join a 4-5 person well service crew. You will assist with rigging up and down, pull and lay down rods, tubing and casing, and operate rod wrenches, tongs, and elevators, following safety procedures and customer expectations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of rig floor experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year rig floor operation experience.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Willing to travel and work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist operator in rigging up/down and aligning the well service rig.
• Operate rig tools including rod wrenches, tongs, elevators, and other equipment during well servicing.
• Lift and lay down tubing and rods; maintain tools and equipment on the rig.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or maintenance issues.
• Work 12-hour shifts and perform physically demanding tasks.
