Job summary

Axis Energy Services is seeking a Floor Hand for our Platteville, CO area operations. You will join a 4-5 person crew on a well service rig, assisting in rigging up/down and handling tubing, rods, and related equipment under supervision.

Candidates should have 1+ year rig floor experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a 12-hour shift with rotations. This role requires lifting up to 75 lbs and working outdoors in variable weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; equivalent may be acceptable.
• At least 1 year of rig floor operation experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work a varied rotational schedule and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in rigging up and down the well service rig.
• Set hydraulic jacks and attach guy wires.
• Operate rod wrenches, tongs and elevators during operations.
• Help lift tubing and move equipment on/off the rig.
• Maintain tools and clean up spills.
• Report safety hazards to the Rig Supervisor.
• Work long hours with safety compliance.
