Job summary

Stewart & Stevenson in Houston, TX is seeking a Production Scheduler I to coordinate scheduling, releasing, and tracking of parts and workflow across the manufacturing process of oilfield pressure pumping equipment.

You will partner with Procurement, review schedules, produce daily reports, adapt to design changes, and help ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BA/BS in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Oracle or another ERP system.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Able to lift and handle production documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, issue, and control production schedules to meet on-time delivery.
• Coordinate material and project activities across production and support teams.
• Provide daily reports and updates to staging and parts coordination.
• Collaborate with procurement to align supplier deliveries with schedules.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation to keep schedules on track.
