Job summary

NANA Construction, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to coordinate materials, equipment, and supplies at Big Lake headquarters in Kentucky. The role focuses on safe loading/unloading, accurate documentation, and daily collaboration with vendor warehouses and site personnel.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years oilfield material handling experience, forklift operation ability, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or ten years direcly related material handler experience will be considered.
• Minimum five years oilfield construction material handler experience; experience operating a small forklift; telehandler forklift experience preferred.
• Intermediate skillset with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Haz-Mat Transportation certification preferred (49CFR & ICAO/IATA).
• Good written and oral communication skillset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively without direct supervision and interface with a variety of people from different companies.
• Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record for the past three years.
• Willingness to work outside in all conditions and times of the year.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading materials from transport vehicle and securing loads in the vehicle.
• Documenting defective material issues, shipment discrepancies and non-conformance issues; relay to Material Coordinator and assist in resolution.
• Work with Vendor warehouses and NANA personnel daily.
• Provide accurate documentation to the Material Coordinator for all material handled.
• Respond to and help communicate and resolve material issues from shop personnel.
• Assist in managing both permanent material and consumables, tools and equipment.
• Handle, package and consolidate freight, including banding, shrink-wrapping, labeling of material.
• Follow all company, client, safety and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.
• Work effectively with minimal supervision and engage with others representing different companies.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
