Job summary

IStick Capital Management LLC is seeking an Oilfield Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems across oil and gas production sites in Texas. The role includes field service at well sites, tank batteries, SWDs, and production facilities, with opportunities to mentor Apprentice Electricians.

The ideal candidate will read schematics, perform testing, and work safely on low- and medium-voltage systems while adhering to LOTO and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair oilfield electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electric motors, pumps, motor controls, starters, panels, breakers, and production equipment.
• Install conduit, wiring, cable, junction boxes, disconnects, control panels, and related electrical components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Perform electrical testing and diagnose equipment failures.
• Work on low- and medium-voltage electrical systems within qualifications and authorization.
• Perform or assist with overhead electrical work, including power poles, transformers, transformer banks, and line fuses.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce electrical failures and production downtime.
• Follow all electrical safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout/Tryout (LOTO) and required PPE.
• Provide guidance and hands-on training to Apprentice Electricians.
• Safely operate bucket trucks, man lifts, forklifts, and other equipment when trained and authorized.
• Respond to field emergencies and after-hours call-outs as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Perform other electrical and field duties as assigned.
