Role Description

This full-time, on-site Journeyman Electrician role is based in Fort Worth, TX and involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in oilfield and related industrial environments. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics, running conduit and wiring, mounting and connecting electrical equipment, and performing troubleshooting on motors, panels, and control systems. The role requires conducting regular inspections, testing systems for proper operation, and ensuring all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and company safety policies. The Journeyman Electrician will collaborate with field crews and supervisors to plan work, coordinate with other trades, and complete projects on schedule. This position also involves maintaining accurate documentation of work performed and participating in ongoing safety and technical training.

Qualifications

• Current Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Texas and strong knowledge of NEC and relevant local codes.
• Proficiency in installing and maintaining industrial electrical systems, including panels, motors, controls, and conduit in oilfield or similar environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation and apply them to field installations.
• Demonstrated skill in electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and safe use of testing instruments and hand tools.

• Physical ability to work in outdoor and industrial conditions, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Fort Worth, TX worksite and surrounding field locations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in electrical or industrial maintenance is beneficial.
• Previous experience in oilfield, industrial, or commercial electrical work is preferred but not required for highly motivated candidates with strong fundamental skills.
