Job summary

Strata Innovative Solutions in Connellsville, PA is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems in industrial settings, primarily oil and gas facilities.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial electrical construction, 2+ years in oil and gas, NEC knowledge, and the ability to travel to job sites. OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety certs are preferred. On-call rotations are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings, primarily O&G Industry
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Install and connect wiring, conduits, switches, transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Investigate and problem solve to determine most efficient way to install changes to existing electrical service
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently
• Participate in 24/7 Field On-Call Schedule rotation (approx. 1 week every 1-2 months)
• Lead, mentor, and direct less experienced electricians

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• 5+ years of Industrial Electrical Construction experience
• 2+ years experience Oil and Gas Industry
• Equipment operating experience preferred (excavator, manlift, skid steer, etc)
• Journeyman License preferred
• Strong experience in oil & gas facilities (upstream, midstream, or downstream preferred)
• Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, motor controls, and hazardous area classifications
• Strong knowledge of NEC (or applicable electrical code)
• Ability to travel to job sites as required
• Experience with Class I Div 1 & 2 installations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work overtime and travel to job sites as required
• OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety certifications
