Job summary

ProPetro is seeking an Inventory Specialist to ensure the availability of resources and support the efficient flow of materials by maintaining accurate records and organized inventory. You will conduct counts, update records in the inventory system, label items, and keep documentation compliant with safety standards.

This role collaborates with procurement, logistics, and operations to optimize stock levels, submit purchase orders, and verify incoming shipments against POs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field preferred.
• Experience in inventory management, preferably in oil field industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and inventory management software; quick learning for other systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; collaborative teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory counts to track stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
• Utilize inventory management software to update and manage inventory records.
• Ensure all inventory items are properly labeled and organized for easy access.
• Maintain detailed records of all inventory transactions (receipts, issues, returns).
• Assist in the preparation of regular inventory reports and analysis.
• Keep documentation compliant with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and submit purchase orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply issues.
• Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while handling inventory.
• Report safety hazards or incidents to the HSE hotline.
• Work with logistics, procurement, and operations to meet inventory requirements.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to improve inventory processes.
