Job summary

Lewis Energy Group, LP is seeking an Electronics Technician to lay out, rig up, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify oilfield production electronic components and systems. You will work with sensors, data acquisition equipment, flow meters, densitometers, and hydraulic fracturing controls, applying electronics principles and diagnostic skills.

The role requires hands-on calibration, part tracking, and clear communication with lead technicians.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with related experience or training.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions.
  • Basic electronics knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots, repairs and calibrates sensors (pressure, temperature, flow, etc.) under supervision.
  • Uses Data Van software for installation, configuration, and remote usage; analyzes log data.
  • Tracks repair parts and maintains daily logs and work orders.
  • Coordinates with personnel to complete work requests and upgrade equipment.
  • Analyzes circuits and modifies circuitry to improve performance.
  • Performs maintenance on computer systems and preventive maintenance.
  • Reads blueprints/drawings and diagrams; troubleshoots non-standard devices.
  • Sets up and runs tests with supervisory support.
  • Performs failure analysis and communicates findings via reports.
