Job summary

NexTier Completion Solutions Inc. seeks an Electronic Technician to maintain hydraulic fracturing equipment, perform repairs in the field, and install/configure electronic systems. You will diagnose issues, test equipment, and ensure safety standards are met while documenting all activity.

Role requires reading schematics, operating various test instruments, and mentoring less experienced technicians in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 0–10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular and scheduled maintenance on hydraulic fracturing equipment.
• Repairs equipment in the field using hand and power tools.
• Installs and configures electronic and electromechanical equipment.
• Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring and components.
• Travels to locations for emergency repairs on electronics and equipment.
• Diagnoses electrical problems using schematics and manuals.
• Inspects, operates, and tests equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Tests equipment at manufacturer facility before field deployment.
• Documents repairs, inspections, and testing.
• Maintains a safe work environment following QHSE.
• Mentors and trains junior Electronic Technicians.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
