Job summary

NexTier Completion Solutions Inc. is seeking an Electronic Technician to assist with equipment function checks, repairs, and diagnostics at both the facility and field sites in Texas.

The role emphasizes safety, mentoring junior technicians, and hands-on repair of oilfield electronics and pumping systems. You will work under supervision with defined duties, read and follow instructions, and use your tools to service densitometers, viscometers, flow meters, and transducers.

Qualifications

• English literacy to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Extensive knowledge of sensors used in oilfield electronics (densitometers, viscometers, flow meters, transducers).
• Ability to understand and support district goals and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment function checks and repairs at the facility and on location.
• Operate company equipment and identify, maintain, and troubleshoot company equipment.
• Mentor entry-level technicians during repairs.
• Prioritize safety through JSAs, hazard hunts, and safety meetings.
• Follow established policies and report unsafe acts or hazards.
• Work independently and assist others as directed.
