Job summary

Steel Energy Services LTD. is seeking a Floor Hand to support a workover crew in Williston. The role involves maintenance and repair of oil and gas wells, rig operations, and handling heavy equipment.

The position requires physical endurance, ability to work various shifts, and willingness to be trained in rig operations and safety procedures. An entry-level candidate with a high school diploma is encouraged to apply, with CDL preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• No experience necessary, preferred experience with construction or hard labor.
• Basic Problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills and verbal / written English communication skills.
• Basic Oilfield knowledge preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Class B CDL license to drive workover rig (not required-but encouraged).
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift objects up to 75 pounds (75#) for extended periods of time.
• This position requires standing, walking, and sitting while working either indoors or outdoors.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Ability to pass company’s pre-employment exam that also consists of a drug screen and physical.
• Acceptable criminal history.
• Ability to read, write and speak English to understand and give instructions, plus basic math.

Responsibilities

• Available to work beyond the traditional 8-hour workday; Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays may be required.
• Willingness to work 24-hour operations with multiple shifts as needed.
• Able to work at heights up to 50 feet or more.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on oil and gas wells as part of a crew.
• Operate rod wrenches, tong, elevators and related equipment.
• Assist in rigging up and rigging down the workover rig.
• Lift and position wellhead and other production equipment as required.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain tools and workshop areas.
• Participate in company training on rig operations and safety procedures.
