Job summary

EMCOR Group in Midland, TX seeks a highly experienced licensed Field Superintendent to lead electrical construction and maintenance across oilfield facilities in the Permian basin. You will supervise field crews, ensure NEC/NFPA compliance, enforce safety, coordinate with operations, and deliver projects on time and on budget in a fast-paced oil & gas environment.

Qualifications

Active Journeyman or Master Electrician License (TX or NM preferred).
Extensive oilfield electrical systems experience (480V/600V, MCCs, VFDs, generators, PLC interfaces).
Strong knowledge of Class I Division I & II environments.
Proven leadership and crew management skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Willingness to work extended hours and rotational schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage electrical field crews on oil & gas projects across multiple sites.
Ensure NEC, NFPA, local/state codes and company standards compliance.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials.
Serve as primary field contact with operations, PMs, inspectors, and clients.
Enforce safety policies, conduct JSAs, toolbox talks, and field audits.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical/instrumentation issues; review drawings.
