Job summary

Milford A Winsupply Company in Hobbs, New Mexico, is seeking a Sales Associate who greets customers in person and via telephone to manage sales and rental opportunities. You will provide knowledge of oilfield products while processing orders, inspections, and inventory management.

The ideal candidate should have at least one year of retail sales experience and be familiar with material handling equipment. You will work a schedule of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and be required to be 'on call' one week every month.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle payment transactions including credit cards.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and pass operator qualification.
• Excellent cash handling skills.
• Driving and maintaining a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person or via telephone.
• Provide knowledge of oilfield products and process orders.
• Document condition of equipment and manage rental contracts.
• Coordinate inventory arrivals and repairs needed.

Skills

Working knowledge of oilfield equipment/goods

Excellent customer service

Verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

Computer skills such as Microsoft 365

Education

One year of retail experience performing counter sales
