Job summary

Plaza Tire Service in the Midwest, serving since 1963, is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance, tire rotation and basic services under supervision. You will also drive customers, pick up parts, and help maintain a clean shop while following safety procedures.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, being 18 or older, and availability to work at least five days including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services under supervision and documents vehicle condition.
