Job summary

Plaza Tire Service Inc. is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician at our Illinois locations. This role performs oil changes, tire mounting, wheel balancing, alignments, and related services while ensuring safety and quality.

You will transport customers when needed, pick up parts, and maintain shop cleanliness. Requirements include a valid driver's license, at least 18, and ability to work at least five days including Saturdays. Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, tires, and supplies from vendors and/or the corporate office.
• Operates the company vehicle safely and courteously.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections as required.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and service areas.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to management.
