Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician in the United States to perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, flushes, and related tasks. You may also drive customers, pick up parts, and maintain shop cleanliness as needed.

Qualified applicants have a valid driver's license, can work at least five days including Saturdays, and possess a basic understanding of automotive mechanics. The position offers competitive benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop, tire racks, showroom and exterior.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
