Job summary

The Oil Refinery Supervisor at Perdue Farms Inc. leads and mentors the refinery lab and production team, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations.

You will drive daily production, oversee quality output, and foster a culture of continuous improvement aligned with our safety standards. Applicants should have experience leading refinery staff, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and quality control processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading refinery lab and production staff.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with focus on associate development.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and compliance standards (ISO, OSHA).
• Willingness to learn lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules, customer specifications, output goals and quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance to monitor equipment performance and operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Optimize labor, raw materials and equipment usage to ensure cost-effective operations while meeting production standards.
• Mentor and coach team members on enhancing skills while managing performance and learning and development of the team.
• Maintain accurate production records including output, quality metrics and associate performance and attendance.
• Provide regular updates to management on production status, challenges and opportunities for improvement.
