Job summary

Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking an Oil Refinery Operator to run and monitor refining, bleaching, deodorization and hydrogenation processes, and to support safe, efficient production. You will move materials with forklifts, load finished products, maintain sanitation, and perform routine equipment maintenance.

This role operates on a 12-hour rotating shift with potential overtime and a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, track mobile equipment, pallet jack and tractor/trailer to load, unload and move supplies.
• Operate refining, bleaching and deodorization production processes.
• Operate the hydrogenation production process.
• Load out refined edible oil.
• Perform general labor, housekeeping and sanitation of the oil refinery.
• Perform routine operator maintenance on refinery equipment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines per local, state, federal regulations and company policies.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Summary

Play a hands-on role in producing high quality edible oil products. As an Oil Refinery Operator, you will operate and monitor refining, bleaching, deodorization, and hydrogenation processes while supporting safe and efficient production operations. You will handle material movement using forklifts and other mobile equipment, load out finished products, perform routine operator maintenance, and maintain sanitation standards within the refinery. This role is ideal for safety focused individuals who enjoy working with industrial equipment, supporting production from start to finish, and contributing directly to operational success.

This will be a 12 hour rotating shift.

This position has a target wage of $21.00 - $31.50 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

• Able to move freely throughout the Oil Refinery facility to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), carrying equipment or tools (50-100 pounds).
• Exposed to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
