Job Description

The Lubrication Technician is responsible for lubricating vehicles efficiently and thoroughly, coordinating with the Production Foreman to ensure quality service.

Note: Associates should be attentive to detail and provide their own tools to perform job requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform all lubrication services.
2. Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle (battery, lights, tires), and refer repairs or preventive maintenance needs to the Service Advisor.
3. Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
4. Receive repair orders from the Service Salesman or Production Foreman and proceed to service the vehicle.
5. Lubricate the entire vehicle while inspecting for other repair needs.
6. Keep the vehicle clean during service.
7. Ensure all equipment, especially lifts, is in proper working order.
8. Use materials and supplies judiciously.
9. Follow all safety policies and procedures, reporting any accidents immediately.

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
2. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
3. At least two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automotive dealership.
4. Authorized to work in the USA.
5. Ability to perform duties safely.
6. Ability to pass pre-employment tests including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.
