LHH is collaborating with a prestigious law firm client to find an experienced Oil & Gas Title Attorney for a fully remote, long-term project. If you have a background in examining titles in Pennsylvania, Ohio, or West Virginia, and open to candidates with experience with Appalachian Basin, please submit your resume for confidential consideration.

Qualifications
  • Experience in Oil and Gas Title: significant experience examining abstracts of title, leases, contracts, and various legal documents related to the oil and gas industry.
  • Preparing Title Opinions: ability to prepare comprehensive and accurate title opinions through thorough analysis and interpretation of title documents.
  • Regional Expertise: specific experience in reviewing titles in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and/or West Virginia, understanding local regulations and legal intricacies.
  • Curative Title Experience: proven experience in curative title work, including resolving title defects and issues to ensure clear and marketable titles.
  • Exemplary Writing Skills: exceptional writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Attention to Detail: meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in title examination and document preparation.
  • Independent and Efficient Work: ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and workload to meet project deadlines.
  • Educational Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active license in good standing.
