Job summary

KODA Resources is seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to drive financial planning, decision support, and growth initiatives. You will develop and maintain models, forecast and analyze variances, and prepare leadership-ready materials.

The role requires 3+ years in corporate finance or private equity (oil & gas preferred), with strong Excel and communication skills to influence strategic decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of corporate finance or private equity experience; oil & gas preferred.
• MBA or CFA designation preferred but not required.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain corporate financial models for budgeting, planning, valuations, and strategic analysis.
• Support FP&A processes including forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modeling.
• Conduct financial, operational, and commercial development analyses for growth, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Prepare board and management presentations communicating performance insights.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.
• Monitor market research and macroeconomic data related to company performance.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Reserves, Land, and Operations on analyses.
• Support executive decision-making with KPI tracking.
