Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation seeks a Financial Analyst to concentrate on reporting and analyzing financial results and operating metrics. You will prepare monthly internal reports for Management and the Board, develop KPIs on expenses and operations, and support budgeting and forecasts.

Experience in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally Hyperion Essbase/Power BI is valued. This role supports regional operations within the Appalachian Basin, with smart, data-driven insights to drive performance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of business finance/accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Hyperion Essbase and Power BI is a plus.
Oil and gas industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Report and analyze financial results and operating metrics for the Company.
Prepare monthly and quarterly internal reporting for Management and the Board.
Develop, track and report key performance indicators on expenses and operations.
Provide analytical and reporting support to an assigned operational region.
Assist with preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecast updates.
Incorporate impacts of completed M&A activity into budget and forecast.
Support ad-hoc projects and reports.
