Job summary

Brunel Energy is recruiting a Project Controls Engineer to work with a major oil and gas company on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on building integrated schedules, cost tracking, and risk management to ensure successful program delivery.

Responsibilities include developing schedules and budgets with project teams, monitoring performance, and delivering monthly cost/schedule reports. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Manufacturing Systems, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience developing and managing complex project schedules with critical interdependencies, identifying milestones, and creating reporting to highlight risks.

Responsibilities

  • Build an integrated schedule with critical dependencies and milestones.
  • Create project-specific schedules and budgets with Project Managers.
  • Assist in delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Monitor cost and schedule performance and provide trend analysis.
  • Prepare monthly reports covering cost, schedule, progress highlights and risks.
