Jobot is recruiting for an Associate to join a 50-year Pittsburgh firm building an oil and gas specialty. No O&G experience required. Base salary ranges from $100k to $150k plus bonuses.

The position offers a hybrid remote arrangement with exposure to both litigation and transactional work across Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and eastern Ohio. Seeking candidates with PA Bar admission; WV and OH licensure a plus and recent litigation experience.

Qualifications

• PA Bar Admission required; WV and OH licensure a plus.
• Recent litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pleadings, responses to discovery, and depositions for cases.
• Research and draft briefs, memoranda, and litigation position statements.
• Make court appearances and evaluate evidence for trials and hearings.
• Review contract documents and research instruments in chains of title.
• Counsel clients on oil and gas contract matters and potential litigation.
