Job summary

Zeitview is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Oil & Gas vertical. You will be the voice of the customer, defining what the industry needs and translating it into clear requirements for platform product managers and engineering teams.

You will build strategic relationships and drive metrics that show impact on revenue and retention. You will embed with strategic accounts, run structured discovery, and negotiate priorities with PMs, while shaping go-to-market ideas and business cases for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a science, technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years in product management or similar client-facing roles in enterprise software
• Deep domain expertise in Oil & Gas with ability to analyze assets and workflows on site
• Track record of building trusted relationships with enterprise customers and translating to product insight
• Ability to run structured discovery and synthesize inputs into prioritized problems
• Commercial acumen: understanding how product decisions affect pipeline, deals, retention, and competition
• Exceptional communication skills to present to VPs and translate to product briefs
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and inspection locations

Responsibilities

• Define success metrics for the Oil & Gas vertical tied to revenue and customer outcomes
• Embed with 3–5 strategic accounts to understand workflows and write customer-recognized requirements
• Conduct structured discovery via interviews, field observations, and data analysis; synthesize findings into prioritized problems
• Negotiate with platform PMs to advocate vertical priorities using data and evidence
• Write concrete requirements that are build-ready yet flexible for platform-wide use
• Establish credibility as the industry expert within the company
