Job summary

Zeitview (formerly DroneBase) seeks a senior product leader for the Oil & Gas vertical to translate customer needs into strategic requirements and drive revenue-aligned outcomes. You will own discovery, build enterprise relationships, and guide cross-functional teams without owning the backlog.

You will embed with strategic accounts, craft data-driven priorities, and work with PMs and engineering to shape the product direction and go-to-market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in science, technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years in product management, solutions consulting, or a comparable customer-facing role in enterprise software.
• Deep domain expertise in Oil & Gas.
• Proven track record of building trusted relationships with enterprise customers and translating into product insight.
• Ability to run structured discovery and synthesize inputs into a prioritized problem set.
• Commercial acumen: connects product decisions to pipeline, deal size, retention, and competition.
• Exceptional communication skills for executive-level discussions and briefings.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and inspection locations.

Responsibilities

• Define success metrics for Oil & Gas vertical tied to revenue and customer outcomes.
• Embed with 3–5 strategic accounts to understand workflows and pain points.
• Run structured discovery across interviews, site visits, and analytics.
• Negotiate with platform PMs over engineering capacity using data.
• Write clear requirements that are buildable and scalable.
• Build credibility as the industry expert within the company.
