Job summary

Infinity Natural Resources is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Engineer to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of oil and gas facilities. The role is hybrid, based in Canonsburg, PA with in-office three days per week and field travel up to 40%.

You will design, modify, and maintain production facilities, perform engineering calculations, review drawings, support construction, commissioning, and turnaround activities, and manage budgets and schedules with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience in facilities engineering, design, or maintenance for wet gas and condensate systems.
• Working knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards (e.g., API, ASME, DPT, PHMSA).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ProMax or similar engineering design software.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to meet specific deadlines based on department needs and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely team-oriented with strong oral and written skills to convey information clearly and persuasively.
• Results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Must be able to perform light work – exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
• Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for the design, modification, and maintenance of oil and gas production facilities.
• Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Develop and review engineering drawings and specifications.
• Support project teams with technical expertise during facility construction, commissioning, and turnaround activities.
• Oversee project budget, schedule, and provide update reports to key members of management.
• Manage and participate in facility inspections, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and procurement to optimize facility performance.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices and regulations and stay up to date with new technologies.
