Design Solutions & Integration is hiring an Electrical Estimator to support Permian Basin operations from Midland, TX. The role requires field walks, design-build estimation from site visits, and close collaboration with the Sales Team and Project Managers.

The ideal candidate will have Oil & Gas estimating experience, NEC knowledge, and proficiency with McCormick Systems or comparable software, with willingness to learn McCormick in depth. Travel to client sites is expected.

Competenze

• Conceptualize, design-build, and estimate electrical scopes from scratch.
• Oil & Gas, midstream, upstream, or heavy industrial estimating background.
• Communicate effectively and work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and PMs.
• 2+ years with McCormick Systems or proven track record with other estimating software and willingness to learn McCormick.
• Willingness to travel to industrial sites and active oilfields.
• Strong knowledge of NEC for industrial wiring, hazardous areas, and grounding.
• Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with Sales to evaluate opportunities and help secure bids.
• Coordinate project hand-offs with Project Managers post-award and review estimates.
• Conduct field walks to identify requirements, craft on-site electrical layouts, and estimate without blueprints.
• Translate field notes into material and labor takeoffs using McCormick back in the Midland office.
• Maintain and adapt the McCormick database for local Permian conditions and crew productivity.
• Scope and budget for hazardous environments, including explosion-proof fittings and intrinsically safe gear.
• Build strong client relationships during site walks, offering technical guidance and budget input.
