Job summary

Mountain V Oil & Gas in Buckhannon, WV is seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Data Analyst to support exploration and production through accurate data management and actionable reporting.

You will maintain data integrity, build data repositories, collaborate with geologists and engineers, and deliver daily and weekly reports with charts and visualizations to drive data‑driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data management and analysis within the oil and gas industry preferred.
  • Proficiency with data management and visualization software including GIS tools, Excel, Microsoft Access, and database systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Working understanding of oil and gas exploration, drilling, and production processes.
