Job summary

Hines Park Lincoln is seeking an entry-level automotive technician. This role requires no experience and offers on-the-job training. Pay is hourly and depends on experience, with potential hourly plus commission for more experienced technicians.

As part of a team, you will test vehicles, perform basic inspections, and support maintenance tasks. We promote growth, offer benefits, and a family-owned atmosphere in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of automobiles.
• Effective communication skills and eagerness to improve
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• No experience necessary, we will provide all of the training!
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
