Summary

TheLube Technician,will be responsible for performing quick service and routine maintenance to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs for customer vehicles.
• Conduct tire inspections, including patching tires and checking air pressure.
• Inspect and replace air and cabin filters as needed.
• Ensure vehicle fluids (brake, transmission, coolant, etc.) are at proper levels.
• Perform quick inspections of belts, hoses, and other basic vehicle components.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to dealership and industry standards.
• Make certain all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
• 1+ yearsof experience as a technician’s helper, apprentice technician, or lube technician in an automotive dealership or service shop.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems, components, and maintenance procedures, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, fluid checks.
• Experience using automotive tools and equipment, such as wrenches, oil filter wrenches, and socket sets to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
• Must have own set of tools (basic hand tools, wrenches, sockets)
• Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians, service advisors, and customers, along with strong communication skills to explain maintenance needs and recommendations clearly.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Compensation:

• $20.50/ hour
