Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a high‑performing team of technicians and assistants. The role emphasizes leadership, training, scheduling, and ensuring top customer service while maintaining shop operations.

Experience is valued but not required; paid training is provided. The position offers growth opportunities with the Take 5 pathway and the potential to earn $55k+ with base pay and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a fast-paced service/retail environment.
• Ability to recruit, interview, onboard and train new crew members.
• Strong scheduling and crew management skills.
• Experience with inventory controls and basic shop accounting would help.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, & training new crew members
• Creating crew schedules & submit payroll
• Controlling inventory: End of Period and End of Year inventory
• Placing product orders and restocking inventory as necessary
• Understanding the shop’s financials to drive results and budget wisely
• Conducting quarterly employee evaluations
• Support crew with oil change and auto service tasks
• Provide excellent customer service
