Job summary
Stoneham Fuel is seeking a skilled Oil Burner & Heating Service Technician to join our family-owned team in Middlesex County. You will service boilers, burners, and piping, perform inspections, and diagnose issues to keep systems safe and efficient.
Responsibilities include installations, calibrations, on-call rotation, overtime during peak seasons, and maintaining thorough service records. We offer a van, health and dental insurance, paid time off, and ongoing training.
Qualifications
- Massachusetts Oil Burner Technician Certificate required.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain boiler systems, burners, and piping equipment.
- Perform cleanings, safety inspections, and routine maintenance.
- Diagnose system issues and complete necessary repairs.
- Adjust and calibrate controls for safe and efficient operation.
- Assist with oil burner installations and system startups as needed.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Communicate professionally with customers.
- Educate customers about system care and energy efficiency.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and overtime during peak seasons.
