Stoneham Fuel is a family-owned and operated heating company seeking a skilled Oil Burner & Heating Service Technician to join our team in Stoneham, MA. You will service and maintain boiler systems, burners, and piping equipment, performing cleanings and safety inspections.

Requirements include Massachusetts Oil Burner Technician Certificate, a valid driver's license with a clean record, ability to pass a background check, and relevant oil burner experience.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain boiler systems, burners, and piping equipment
• Perform cleanings, safety inspections, and routine maintenance
• Diagnose system issues and complete necessary repairs
• Adjust and calibrate controls for safe and efficient operation
• Assist with oil burner installations and system startups as needed
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Educate customers about system care and energy efficiency
• Participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime during peak heating seasons

Requirements

• Massachusetts Oil Burner Technician Certificate
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Relevant oil burner and heating service experience

• Service and maintain boiler systems, burners, and piping equipment

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• On-call rotation during busy season
