Job summary

Permian Resources is offering a paid Engineering Internship for Summer 2027 in Midland, Texas. Interns will work on projects across Drilling, Completions, Production, Facilities, and Reservoir disciplines, paired with a manager and mentor for guidance.

The program includes trainings, field tours, volunteer activities, and networking with executives. Interns will present a culminating presentation showcasing their work and learning experiences, with opportunities to contribute to real company

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution
• Pursuing or have completed a degree in Engineering or related field
• Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate student
• Expected graduation: Spring/Fall of 2029 (Two summers remaining)
• Available for internship start mid-late May 2027
• A minimum of 12 continuous weeks' availability for internship

Responsibilities

• Analyze drilling operations as part of the project initiatives
• Plan and maintain facility infrastructure
• Improve production efficiency
• Examine completions procedures
• Evaluate oil and gas reserves
