Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants is seeking a Facilities/OHS Supervisor to coordinate operations across multiple store locations in California. You will oversee safety programs, compliance, maintenance coordination, and reporting, while liaising with regional managers and service providers to ensure timely issue resolution.

The role requires 3–5 years in a supervisory or OHS/retail management capacity, with strong planning and communication skills, fluent English, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Recognised OHS qualification or relevant certification.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory, OHS, or retail management role.
• Experience in facilities maintenance and compliance is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of OHS requirements and legislation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel at intermediate to advanced level.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational support across corporate store locations.
• Coordinate facilities maintenance, equipment repairs, service providers, contractors, and transport vendors.
• Monitor Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance, risk assessments, and safety inspections.
• Implement and monitor OHS frameworks, systems, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain statutory records, monitoring dashboards, and monthly operational reports.
• Ensure facilities remain operationally ready, safe, and compliant.
• Act as the main liaison between store operations, regional managers, service providers, contractors, and internal departments.
• Provide training and support to Regional and Store Managers on OHS processes and compliance.
• Monitor operational standards and assist with resolving maintenance and compliance-related issues.
