Athletics Retail Intern - Fall

Legends Global Merchandise is looking for a resourceful, analytical, innovative, and intellectually curious individual. The intern will work closely with the Operations Manager and Store Manager to support the Ohio State retail team, assist with day‑to‑day operations at The Team Shop at the Schottenstein Center, and manage a satellite retail location for all Ohio State Football gamedays.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare and run retail locations for all varsity athletic sporting retail stores, including all OSU football game‑day locations during the season.
• Visually merchandise store locations to fit the location’s needs.
• Complete projects given and present to leadership.
• Support the daily operational focus and initiatives by improving productivity.
• Assist in inventory and receiving merchandise.
• Learn POS systems.
• Analyze opportunities for growth, cutting costs, reducing damages, and improving efficiencies.
• Help set up and organize merchandise locations at various athletic events.
• Inspect stadium stands for deficiencies and take appropriate corrective action.
• Assist with moving any equipment as required for events.
• Other tasks and projects as assigned.

Internship Timeline

Full School Year (August – May). Up to 30 hours expected each week.
