Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking an OHE Lineman C to assist Journeyman Lineman and Foreman while in training. You will work on poles, power lines, and related equipment for transmission and distribution of electricity, learning from the Lineman team and collaborating with departmental staff.

The role involves field work in varied weather, with responsibilities including equipment installation, maintenance, and safety-focused operations. A CDL is required, and OSHA 10 Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of lineman experience.
• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and inspect transmission and distribution of electrical lines.
• Provide technical skills for reliable electrical services and timely completion of jobs.
• Connect, disconnect, install, and move electrical devices on customers' facilities.
• Route or reroute power lines around existing structures.
• Assist in setting or replacing poles and handling related tasks.
• Perform line switching or sectionalizing as directed.
