Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person or by phone and update insurance/demographics in the practice management system.
• Verify insurance coverage and ensure physician accepts the patient’s insurance.
• Coordinate patient arrival communication and prepare medical records for physician.
• Handle HIPAA paperwork and related forms.
• Collect referrals or insurance authorizations as needed.
