Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an Offsite Land Superintendent to oversee land development activities for residential communities across Southern California. You will manage offsite construction operations, coordinate contractors and consultants, and support communities from development through turnover to homebuilding.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in residential site development, grading, utilities, infrastructure, and project coordination, with a track record of managing schedules,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in residential land development or construction.
• Strong background in grading, utilities, infrastructure, and residential site development.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants, and complex development projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee offsite land development activities for major residential communities in Southern California.
• Manage site development including mass grading, utilities, streets, landscaping, and infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, municipalities, and internal development teams.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, inspections, and quality control standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets project requirements and company standards.
• Review plans and development documents to identify challenges and solutions.
• Manage contractor performance and project coordination.
• Resolve field issues and maintain progress through completion.
• Support community delivery from development through turnover to homebuilding.
