Apartment Life conventional coordinators create an engaging and caring environment for residents and staff in an apartment community. They are passionate about the mission of AL and focus on planning excellent events, fostering personal communication, and demonstrating genuine care and hospitality, ultimately impacting community life.

The core of a coordinator's work can be summarized as: Care, Connect, and Call.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and hosting 1-3 monthly events to care for and connect residents and promote local services or businesses.
  • Providing a caring touch to residents and staff, leveraging community support.
  • Enhancing online reputation through resident engagement online.
  • Creating marketing materials such as calendars, flyers, and social media content.
  • Managing event budgets and preparing monthly summaries.
  • Collaborating with staff and volunteers to maximize impact.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Must be 18 or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Basic fluency in English for marketing and reporting.
  • Valid driver’s license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including stairs, bending, sitting, standing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability for weekly evening and weekend hours.
  • Commitment to at least the minimum term of service.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in event planning, budgeting, or social media.
  • Support network of volunteers, vendors, or community partners.
