Job description

The Apartment Life Coordinator will be responsible for excellence in executing the service plan of Apartment Life’s (AL) offsite program. This leader will be passionate about the vision and mission of AL and the desires of its industry partners to help build community, provide consistent programming, and enhance the resident experience in this stage of life.

This position will report to the Program Management leader and work closely with the on-site management team and homeowner’s association. The Coordinator will plan and host one exciting event per month using a budget provided, post pictures and event buzz on the property’s social media, and email residents throughout their lease to check in.

Important Details:

• The community is located in Gainesville, GA (North East of Atlanta).
• The coordinator will serve Offsite meaning they will not need to live in the neighborhood.
• The position is very part-time as the coordinator will serve for only 12 hours per month which is incredibly flexible, and compensation will be in the form of an hourly rate.
• The position requires a coordinator that has experience planning high-end events, marketing, and is social media savvy.

Service Coordination

To ensure programs flourish in excellence, the Coordinator will:

• Coordinate with local partners such as food trucks or walkable restaurants to deliver a variety of events.
• Complete the monthly service requirements which can include: planning and hosting 1 monthly activity or event, visiting residents upon move-in and throughout their lease term, engaging online to boost online reputation.
• Communicate effectively and regularly with the onsite staff.
• Meet virtually on a biweekly basis with AL supervisor to discuss progress, goals, and service implementation.
• Oversee each activity and ensure they run as planned.
• Report activity each month to capture the program elements and impact on property.

They are authentic, empathetic, caring, and have excellent communication skills. They have a special care for the student population.
• Event Planners: plan and facilitate events to attract and retain residents and draw students into community. They enjoy being the life of the party--designing exciting atmospheres and drawing people into conversations and experiences.
• Available: available to host events and perform weekly visits when the apartment residents are most likely to attend or be at home, including evenings and weekends.
• Financially Responsible: responsible and trustworthy with a community’s monthly event budget.
