Job summary

Oil States Energy Services is hiring a Wireline/Pressure Control Field Service Technician for the Houma, LA offshore location. The role focuses on installation, operation, repair, removal, and maintenance of company tools and oilfield equipment on offshore sites.

The position requires travel and the ability to work offshore. CDL may be required, with safety and downtime minimized through disciplined field work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED desired.
• Must be able to travel extensively and be on call 24/7.
• Must maintain a safe driving record as prescribed by company policy.
• Must successfully pass pre- and post-employment drug and alcohol tests per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Abides by all Safety and Operational Policies and Procedures and DOT requirements.
• Installs, repairs, operates, removes, troubleshoots, and maintains various company tools and equipment.
• Drives and operates mobile crane truck, pickup and trailer to deliver tools over state lines up to 70% of the time.
• Regularly drives company vehicle between district and off-site locations as scheduled.
• Completes all paperwork in a timely manner, including job reports and logs.
