Job summary

Spartan Industrial & Marine in Belle Chasse, LA seeks a mechanically skilled Offshore/Onshore Field Service Technician to support hydraulic hose operations across Louisiana, the Gulf Coast, and offshore markets.

The role requires hands-on diagnostics, hose fabrication, testing, and field service at customer sites including offshore platforms. Travel is extensive, with emphasis on safety and documentation of all work performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hands-on mechanical/hydraulic/industrial experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel across Louisiana, Gulf Coast, and offshore.
• Offshore safety training and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Travel to offshore platforms and onshore sites to fabricate, crimp, install, and test hose assemblies.
• Inspect, replace, and document hose fittings, adapters, and related components.
• Perform hydrostatic testing and maintain test records and equipment logs.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions; support field and shop operations.
